Consumer Warning from Affiliate Fuel

Affiliate Fuel is issuing a warning about a recent lottery and check scam targeting innocent consumers.
Victims are receiving letters and fraudulent checks, purportedly from Canada, bearing the name "Affiliate LLC.” Within the letters, victims are subsequently instructed to contact a telephone number where they will receive further information to obtain additional monies. According to recipients, upon contact with the perpetrators of this scam, victims are then requested to electronically transfer a portion of the funds to pay for phony fees. Affiliate Fuel strongly advises recipients not to cash these checks, nor wire any funds from their bank account.
Affiliate Fuel is working with the US Secret Service and other federal law enforcement agencies to locate and prosecute the perpetrators of this scam.

Recipients of these letters should not deposit these fraudulent checks or wire any funds as it relates to this scam. Recipients are advised to promptly contact Affiliate Fuel at (310) 582-8900.
